CRUMAR BITone

The Bit One is a 6 voice programmable polyphonic analog synthesizer with digital control like the Roland Juno-106 synthesizer. The 61-note keyboard is equipped with velocity which is a rare option among similar synths! The split option I find is not that useful and can be confusing

It features 2 computer controlled oscillators, 6 voltage controlled filters using CEM3328 IC's, 6 VCAs and 2 LFOs each per voice. hands-on editing is very tedious and the save routine takes a bit of getting used to. It is unrelaible, mainly due to the sub standard soldering and the many ribbon interconnectors. The MIDI implementation is poor and the synth keyboard is not functional whilst MIDI is running.A Tauntek firmwware update is available. In my opinion it is a decent polysynth but not amazing.
